Rick’s Paint & Body uses a state-of-the-art painting system in order to duplicate a factory finish, with multiple layers of highly specialized auto body paints.
Auto paint system technology is constantly changing, and because of that, Rick’s Paint and Body constantly upgrades our painting system to ensure that we utilize the best technology available.
We use a computerized paint match system, supplied to us by Axalta Coating Systems (formerly DuPont). Then we properly prepare the vehicle for the fresh paint by sanding the finish, and applying primer and sealer.
Your vehicle is painted, a protective clear coat is applied, and then the vehicle is baked to give the paint supreme durability and a high gloss finish. Once this process is complete, our technicians thoroughly inspect the paint to make sure it meets our top quality standards.
A few important things to know about our paint shop:
- We use top-of-the-line Axalta (formerly DuPont) paint
- We offer paintless dent removal (PDR) on-site
- The work done on your vehicle is guaranteed for as long as you own your car
